Who: Emmeline Vance, Remus Lupin When: Saturday Evening. Where: Some pub? What: Winding down post Order-thingy. The world's latest scene lottery scene. Rating: TBD. Open/Closed: Closed
It had been short notice. The Order was largely scattered with no real agenda lately, it seemed, and Dumbledore hadn't put out many calls for missions. Emmeline wasn't sure if it was a good or bad sign, just how differently things were going this time than they had the last war, but it made her uneasy sometimes. When some of the older Order members were sent an Owl asking them to look into a location, she was quick to jump on it. She hadn't known who would be accompanying her until she got there and saw Lupin waiting. It made sense though, once she saw what the mission itself was.
There were no werewolves left there, but there were signs that there had been recently. Sadly, that was the only truly useful thing they'd been able to turn up. Or at least all she'd been able to tell. If Remus knew more, he hadn't yet told her.
They were both somewhat disheartened afterward, and Remus had seemed tired, to Emmeline. They'd never been close, but she liked him. She was somewhat surprised when she offered him a drink and he accepted, but welcomed it. The pair of them chose a small muggle pub where they were unlikely to be seen and Emmeline bought the first round, as promised. The pub was quiet and the booth they shared in the back with a good view of the doors, which was likely why they'd both chosen it automatically. "You seem tired," she offered. "Is everything all right?" She'd already done the calculations in her head, and the moon was a ways off, yet, so she doubted that was the cause.
