"Why, Miss Skeeter! It's always an honor to have you here!" An overexcited host took Rita's hand and pressed an over exaggerated kiss to it. Crimson red lips curled into a slight sneer as she glanced over her shoulder towards Bozo with a curious look. Staring back at the host, Rita turned that sneer into a sickly sweet smile, patting the host on the head condescendingly. "Oh, my lovely, why thank you." Making note to pluck the kerchief from Bozo's breast pocket, she wiped the top of her hand and brushed past the host.
"I think I would like that table." Pointing to an empty table a few rows away from Marietta and Tagoga, a sly smirk curled on her lips as she noted the witch doctor's appearance. As the host nodded hurriedly with menus towards the desired table, Rita hung back to talk to Bozo.
"Now remember, Bozo, camera at the ready. I want to see that bulb flashing the moment that beast does anything remotely embarrassing, disgusting, or... you know the routine." Her sly grin didn't fade, even as people at other tables smiled and greeted Rita with excitement that matched that of the host. At least she was amongst fans in this restaurant.
The whole reason why she showed up here was thanks in part to a fan. Someone saw Tagoga and Marietta show up there, and sent quick word to Rita. Without wasting a moment, Rita reserved a seat and apparated with her photographer to the restaurant under the pretense of just treating Bozo to dinner. It didn't take long for her plans to fall into place. Anywhere Tagoga went, he seemed to have luck at causing an uproar. Rita didn't speak his native tongue, but she could tell the brightly feathered man was getting agitated at the server.
It wasn't until Marietta switched back to English and stammered out something about being Tagoga wife, that Rita's smile brightened and she pulled out a tiny notepad and quill, "You know what to do, Bozo." She said happily as her mind began whirl with possible headlines. This was the story Rita had been waiting for. This was what drew her into the restaurant this evening, and this was what made everything worth it. It didn't matter what was said after that, Rita had her one line and a glimpse at Marietta. That was all she needed.
