Fleur's blue eyes lingered on Bill for a moment before steeling herself as they entered the shop. Thoughts of the events from last week still fresh in her mind; the girl that slept on their couch had clearly been afraid though she would not admit it, tales of some special antique bracelet, and her description of the man... One that was all to familiar to her. Though, Fleur suspected this might be one of those times she should let things be but she was not that type of person. Once a conundrum was placed before her she had to figure it out before she could be at peace with it and leave it alone. Maybe it was something more than that. Maybe she was just curious about the man she had met before randomly on the street even though she had been warned to stay away from him. Though, if he was going around hurting people that should not be overlooked either.
Fleur brushed her hand against Bill's as they made their way to the counter. She wanted nothing more than to intertwine her fingers with his and clutch his hand tightly, but she figured if they were going to use the ruse of being there on work related business, she should at least put on a professional front. Still, she kept close to Bill's side not knowing what they would find or how agreeable this little meeting of her's would turn out. Just by being there he instilled her not only with a sense of safety, but comfort and the confidence she needed.
"Hello Zeth." Fleur said lightly, the gentle tapping of her boots stopping as she reached the main counter. "I trust you 'ave been well?" She smiled a neutral, but still dazzling smile, at him standing up a bit straighter. "I 'ate to bother you at work but maybe 'ou can be of some assistance to us..." She gave a quick glance in Bill's direction. "We are looking for an antique bracelet a customer lost." Fleur said effortlessly the words rolling off her tongue easily. It was not like she was completely lying, it was more of a little white lie and it was for a good reason. "Maybe it ended up 'ere by chance. It was a silver cuff bracelet."
Fleur shifted her position as she waited to see how Zeth responded. Though, despite the chilly autumn air she had purposely forgot her scarf at home. She wanted her choice in jewelery, a necklace to be specific, to be evident. It was a clandestine way of testing Zeth's knowledge of antique jewelery. The delicate silver chain held a tiny silver pendant which was an exquisite silver lynx, studded with miniscule diamonds, curled around a lustrous tear drop black diamond. The Delacours were an old, well established, wizarding family in France and had countless priceless pieces of jewelery and she had ever intention of using it to her advantage now. Like most heirlooms, it no undoubtedly carried some kind of enchantment to it. Protection charms were commonplace on such pieces.
