Dean half expected a bit louder squeal, but it was good enough to make a smile shown brightly across his features. As much as it was awesome to hang out with Seamus during the summer holidays, it was nice change of pace to meet up with the girls that were close in his lives. He did wish that they lived a bit closer though, but the venture to meet up with them was always worth the wait. Of course, he did enjoy living with them for most of the year during school term. That was a plus seeing them all day in and out, but everyone deserved a break from classes and the sort. Height difference was quite noticeable between the two friends, but Dean barely payed much attention that that attribute. If there was a problem with it, then surely one of his friends would have made a remark by now. And if they did, not much could have been changed, especially since he never asked to be one of the tallest in his year. So, he assumed that she enjoyed it for the little things that came in advantage when they hung out.
"I'm sorry, Parvati. I should have come sooner. How can I ever get you to forgive me?" he asked with a grin that seemed planted firmly upon his face. Dean was sure that his appearance at that moment was appreciated and forgiven easily, unable to remember a time when anger flared between them. After all, it wasn't Seamus for doing something that the girls disliked one way or another.
Dean knew all that was happening in the wizarding world lately, making sure to reveal the news to his parents as well. With them being muggles, they barely understood that side of news, but were wary none the less. He was just thankful that they didn't try to keep him on a tight leash, like a few other wizarding families seemed to think was the correct way to go by things. Either way, Dean would have managed to worm his way out of the cell that his parents had placed him in. They trusted him enough to venture out as long as he revealed the location that he would be for any given hours. Of course, Seamus' pub crawl had been converted to spending the night in his best friend's home. "I can't blame them, but they might be taking a too strict side of the road. You know what I mean?" he asked with a slight nod and a raise of an eyebrow. "Well, the offer to smuggle you out is always good. I mean, I think my pant pocket is big enough to fit you."
