There were much worse things that Rita Skeeter could post in her journal, or any other reporter at the Daily Prophet. It wasn't unusual. Gideon had much more negativity written about him throughout the years. Once, he had also been accused of adultery, even though he truly never met that particular woman in his entire life. Fans could submit any story that they desired without anyone checking the facts, and depending on whom had gotten a hold of the story, would print it without checking if it was true or not. It happened quite a few times. Knowing that the situation would blow itself over sooner or later, hopefully, Bridie knew that, even though knew that the mind could dwell on the press more than an individual really should. "Anytime," he answered truthfully with a small smile.
Following in suit, Gideon had downed the rest of the alcohol in the glass before him, feeling as thought it might turn into a long night. Not that he didn't find Bridie to be entertaining in her own way. She really was, but more so with Don than any other person that she had come in contact with. There were times that he thought that the two would end up married later in life, however, that was brought to a close a year ago once the Weird Sister member found himself wrapped up in Elizabeth. Gideon didn't mind the girl, even though now she was subjected to the antics that Heath or himself could come up with on a daily basis. "No, grumpy thoughts. We can talk about how her hair is from 16th century muggle history," he remarked with a raise of his eyebrows. If there was anything that he enjoyed it was when women gave him compliments. There was no need to say that he was the best out of all the Weird Sisters. "You did accept a night out with the best member of the band. If you spent time with Merton, he would just drone on about his emo hair flips."
Even with only a hat attempting to conceal his identity, Gideon was the master of disguises. If he didn't want to be seen, then none of his fans would take notice of him. However, a part of him wanted to be at least noticed once that night. That was obvious by the fact that he only had only chose a hat to keep himself hidden. "You're lucky I didn't put on a Batman suit tonight," he answered with a smirk, already on his second glass of alcohol.
As the conversation turned to the auction, Gideon had felt bad about the girl in question. He knew that she would get some publicity, but he didn't expect Rita Skeeter to call her a ten year old girl. She was of age. That was something that he made sure about, especially though his seemingly endless questions of various women. It didn't help that Myron accused him on picking someone that he wasn't saving for himself. "Her name is Catriona Urquhart. She seemed more interesting than the rest of the others that wanted to spend time with one of us. Twenty, enjoys books, and plays a piano. He didn't have any complaints afterwards, so I'm guessing he did end up having a fun time."
