Who: Myron Wagtail & Catriona Urquhart (and others, perhaps) When: 7 PM, 12 September Where: The Red Dragon restaurant, near Diagon Alley What: Date time Rating: PG Open/Closed: OPEN in case anyone wants to sit and snicker
Myron had been careful to not be followed. He'd only told one other person the location of his date, and he was quite convinced his sister wouldn't rat him out to Gideon. if he was going to embarrass himself in front of a young maiden, he wanted a bit of privacy to do it in. He'd charmed his eyes so that he wouldn't need his preferred spectacles, and dressed in some of his finer stage wear. He realised he would draw looks from onlookers--hence the booth on the back, partially obscured by curtains. The maitre d' would lead her over if necessary.
He'd committed to a drink, no less, and he sat with only a glass of water and a rose to keep him company. True to his letter, he read his copy of Jane Eyre by the gaslight, awaiting Catriona's arrival...
