Who: Alexander Greengrass III & Catriona Urquhart When: Sunday Where: Expensive Restaurant, then who knows. What: Dinner Rating: Probably PG Open/Closed: Closed
There were times that Alexander much rather keep in his office for days on end, like Contessa. And despite the fact that he actually enjoyed his occupation, the thought of remaining at work that long was boring or even entertaining the notion as well. It seemed as though Merlin had been punishing him these last few days. If it wasn't about his sibling taking interest in an idiotic booze hound that potentially could be hazardous for her in the long run, then it was dealing with a certain blonde winning a date with one of the Weird Sisters. Alexander half expected Catriona to postpone the dinner that they had planned for a couple of days, which certainly would have not ended well. It wasn't as though he was threatened by an old man. No, not even in the slightest. He knew that Catriona was better than that, despite the fact that she had listed a few muggle based books in an owl that she had desired. However, that didn't mean that he wasn't disappointed.
It was his goal to conceal whatever might be on his mind these last few days. That was never a problem, especially since he had succeeded before with ease. As much as Alexander had a habit jumping around to various women, which did include at least two of the fairer sex in the unspeakable department, Catriona was different. There was a certain interesting factor about her that seemed quite compelling that he often found himself thinking about her. Granted, nothing would probably come out of it, but Alexander did want to keep her around for as long as possible.
He had picked her up without a problem in another one of his tailor made suits, half expecting Taveon to answer the door to the Urquhart castle. That would have been an amusing conversation indeed, almost a bit saddened that it had not came to pass. Almost. It was a fairly well looking home, even though he still thought the Greengrass Estate was far better. That wasn't something that anyone would be surprised about. Most individuals would choose their own home to be superior then others based on familiarity and how the family worked as a whole. It also had to do with the fact that Alexander was picky when it came to certain subjects that entitled to social status and expensive. That didn't mean that he judged Catriona. No, never. She was one of those individuals that he had deemed worth his time. Even so, he had given her compliments within a matter of moments after their greeting, hoping for the best for their evening.
As they rounded towards the expensive restaurant, Alexander had reached for the door handle and opening it for Catriona. He absolutely insisted on accomplishing simple gentlemanly gestures. It was how he was raised, be polite to the fairer sex, even if they hardly deserved it. The blonde was a lady, so the gestures were well given and deserved such treatment on a daily basis. "I have indeed been waiting in anticipation for this evening to arrive, love. Days of interest often take longer than desired to become the present," he stated with a bit of a smile. "In retrospect, I have read about the exciting news. A date with a Weird Sister. My, my Catriona. A lucky woman you are." It had taken all of him not to sneer or scoff at his comment. He didn't know if she had placed her name in for the event or not, but if the blonde wanted a night out with a musician, then Alexander wasn't about to stop her from that fantasy.
It didn't stop him from knowing that Catriona would have a far better time with him, then someone that wasn't even an acquaintance.
