There was a small nod at that. She refrained from mentioning the fact that fifteen was hardly young enough not to entertain an interest in boys. She did not wish him to find himself in a place where he was very bothered. "They grow up so quickly. Knox is sixteen now." It was strange to realise that they all grew up so quickly. Cat arched an eyebrow at his last comment before nodding. "I am sure you would have to be in the situation to be certain," she said quietly. She had no one besides her father that worried over what it was that happened to her. It was curious to see that in Alexander.
Cat watched Alexander quietly for a moment, letting him speak before she continued. It wasn't polite to interrupt and she had no intention of being impolite. "I believe there are times when we all need to think a little more about things. I am sure I will make such a mistake at one point. We learn." She shrugged her shoulders. She had made mistakes before. She wasn't afraid to say so. If she had been perfect, she would have been boring even to herself. Absolutely boring. "At any rate, I am sure many others would think the same."
As Alexander moved closer, Cat managed to ignore her instinct to move away, an eyebrow arched. "I had rather hoped I might be," she said quietly, looking toward the books for a moment. "It is good to know that you are not bothered by it." Not that it might have stopped her from being herself if he were.
