Cat smiled once again as Alexander spoke. "Oh, no. You are not very tardy. I figured it may have been work-related anyway." There was a slight pause before her smile widened. "I like your thoughts. More points!" Despite the fact that it seemed rather juvenile to her, she liked to have the idea of points being awarded to her. She would not argue over that.
After a moment, she stepped away from the wall, moving to open the door. She preferred opening doors for herself and doing things for herself, which she supposed was something that she should be careful about around others, but she had always told herself that you cannot help what you like. Opening doors for herself was harmless in comparison to the other things she could have done because the idea of it had floated through her mind.
Her eyes rested on Alexander for a moment before she said, "Do come along. If you must, you can hold the door and I will walk in first."
