Who: Gavin and Zoe When: August 31/Early Afternoon Where: Gavin's house What: A tiny musical competition and fun Rating/Status: PG at most?/Closed
True to her word, Zoe showed up at his house a few minutes later after writing in her journal. Even if she was not sure what to expect. It was not like she had ever gone to Gavin's place before. If she thought to think about it she would probably wonder when was the last time they had a conversation outside of Hogwarts. It was not like they were strangers, they were housemates and year mates, and spend all their class time pretty much in the same classes. Zoe had to admit it was pretty awesome that he was into music. There was something appealing and attractive about guys that understood music. Then again, maybe that was just her love of fairy tales coming through; what girl wouldn't find it romantic to know a guy that could actually serenade you?
"See, and I bet you didn't think I'd show up." Zoe teased lightly when she saw Gavin face to face. Her guitar was safely in it's case and slug over her shoulder. As much as she loved her guitar she had to admit she was far more comfortable on the piano or vocally but every good musician learned the guitar which was one reason she had taken it up as a kid. Well, maybe because it was considered cool was part of it too. "But here I am..." She told Gavin with a grin as she set her guitar down and unsnapped her case. The guitar inside was a mahogany acoustic guitar complete with a pink sparkle shoulder strap; while it was true she had a guitar that's soundboard was decked out with iridescent rhinestones, giving it a sparkle effect, she had chosen to leave that one at home. Her pain 'ol guitar was more presentable. "I thought I wouldn't blind you with my sparkle guitar quite yet..."
