She giggled despite herself. "Was there? So I guess that begs the question, are you a functioning man? And are you ready to prove it?"
Carefully carrying the glasses of water, she set them down on the side table and tucked herself underneath his arm again. "Couch. Couch for sure. Bed's too far. Can do this on the couch, too."
