Aesthetics

Plot Overview The United States government knew it had to do something when displaced people started arriving all over the country, but what? After initially setting them up in various homeless shelters across the country, they passed the Displaced Law, which allowed for the displaced to obtain citizenship. The Station was then built to house them. Some characters have been waiting for a spot for six months; others just appeared yesterday. Either way, October 16 is finally move in day. Residents will find their apartments completely furnished with the kitchens stocked.

Lena's randomized arrivals

DAISY arrived on June 30. She will have laid low as much as possible while casually keeping an eye out for any more weirdness, signs of people she knows showing up or a way back home. She's wary about the new centralized housing, but willing to give it a try after vetting the people running the show.

REY arrived July 30. She's a survivor and used to taking care of herself, but she will very much be missing her friends. She's very adaptable and can survive on her own, but is also up for connecting with others she might meet. She will be hopeful about living together in a community with the others in similar positions.

ROSE arrived August 30. She was not happy to be here and likely tried to find places she knows - her school in Montana, the Moroi royal court, Dimitri's home village of Baia - before she accepts she's in another reality. The fact that she can't feel Lissa through the bond will also be a big clue. She isn't sure how to feel about all of this, but it'll be nice to have a nice apartment at least.

Misha's Arrivals

Jesse Custer will be a new arrival, sliding in just before the game opens. He will be highly suspicious, and possibly paranoid at first. I'm the sort of writer who likes to let loose and see what happens, so that's what I intend to do with Jesse.

Larry Trainor arrived on May 11. He has been around a while, keeping a low profile, but also observing this world and arming himself with as much information as possible.

I'd love to have some prior run ins in the bag, particularly with Larry since he's been around the longest and is also the harder of my two to socialise. I can really see Rey and Larry being on friendly terms. Daisy too, actually. I think Daisy would vaguely remind him of Jane.

I'd also be happy to say Jesse knows at least one of yours if only in passing. Rose, maybe? His I-hate-you-but-you're-my-BFF-and-I-love-you is a vampire, so he'd be unphased by her story.

I am good with any of these! Jesse probably won’t know Rose is a dhampir tho since she looks human, doesn’t drink blood etc. she’ll just come off as an exceptionally athletic human with a big appetite. She’s been taught since birth not to even tell people vampires exist so she’s not about to put herself. But she’s friendly and pretty easy to get along with anyway :)

Foster's Arrivals

CAROL arrived in July. She was not happy when she came here and was a little bit obstinant when they told her she had to stay. She's settled down since and has taken up a job she actually enjoys at the wharf, touring people around on the USS Hornet. On the weekends, she's also teaching people how to fly out of the private airport outside of the city.

BUCKY arrived back in May. He was one of the first to show up, which probably made it awkward since he was also still a wanted fugitive back then. Lucky for him, that was sorted out soon enough as others started to join him and the other Bucky was discovered alive all the way in New York. Since then, he's been laying low and he's actually been hired to teach history at the local high school. He keeps to himself mostly, though he has a few close friends (Steve obviously, but open to him having bonded with others before the start of the game!).

CLAIRE arrived in June. She was done with this shit from day one but knowing someone had to take care of these hellions, she volunteered to be on the medical team to help when people arrived. She also wors at Cedar-Seanide most nights.

Daisy arrived in June and I just saw she is rooming with Claire so we should do things with that. I also definitely want her to meet Carol because of reasons and I also think she’d get along well with Bucky.

I think I am going to force Rose to go back to high school and finish since she was in the middle of her senior year at home, sooo she could be one of Bucky’s students. They’re both fighters/soldiers so it’s possible they could bond in a mentor-type way. She arrived in August.

Rey got here in July, so I’m happy today she ran into any/all of yours since then. Maybe she took some flying lessons from Carol (she would have been a natural and picked it up fast)?

I am open to any other thoughts!

	We need to do Daisy/Carol for sure. Kree discussion and dislike. Bucky will find Daisy interesting, though he's currently sometimes quiet and awkward type. ;) I love the idea of Bucky having students that remind him of him. It's the best! I can see Bucky and Larry having a vague friendship. Larry is hard to get close to, he tends to keep his distance, but he needs to socialise and I think Bucky is a good friendship fit for him, if that makes sense?

He is Air Force, and is a flyer. I'm thinking he works on the planes at the airport, so he could know Carol in that capacity? He doesn't like tot alk about what happened to him, but he doesn't shy away from telling people he has severe radiation burns and that's why he's wrapped up in bandages.

Jesse is a new arrival, so he hasn't been around long at all, but is open to making connections if you'd like to utilise him!

	Bucky and Larry are just two friends that grunt at each other and nod while drinking beers. Best bros. ;) Carol would relate seeing she's an ex-Air Force pilot, too. Especially considering she knows a thing or two about having an accident on the job. Love it! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

HoT!Tony Stark: He is brand new. He popped up in New York yesterday and the government put him on a plane to San Francisco the morning of Oct. 16.

PEPPER POTTS-STARK: She has been around for several weeks. She has young Morgan (NPC) with her and has been in a shelter in New York while the government worked housing out.

MAY PARKER: May has been in a shelter waiting for the government to pass the Displaced Law and establish housing for six months. She has been without Peter and is distraught over it.

	Stiles will be brand-spankin' new! He probably annoyed a staff member with 500 questions before moving on. He'll be looking to see if anyone else from home had been dragged there and of course he'll be trying to figure out what is going on. Steve Rogers has been bounced around from shelter to shelter since his arrival in June, but spent the longest in Atlanta. Most of the staff and "residents" agreed he was kind and compassionate and bent over backwards to help other people, but he couldn't seem to stay out of trouble to save his life. If he saw someone being mistreated, he always stepped in. His caseworker, while sympathetic, wanted to tear their hair out by the time The Station was up and running—and not a moment too soon, since Steve had just broken the nose of the Director of Social Services in Cleveland, OH, after finding out the man had been abusing his position to skim money.

Clint, on the other hand, has only been around for three weeks, in a pet friendly shelter in L.A. where he's been more concerned about his fresh-out-of-surgery dog than whatever new dimensional craziness is happening to him now.
