Re: Bucky/Nat
Bucky hadn't really been surprised when Natasha slid in beside him, but the look of her caught him somewhat off guard. It had been a little bit of a shock (to say the least) when they first realized she was here, alive, and their roommate. But it had also been a relief. Bucky hadn't really gotten a chance to know her, but he knew Steve cared about her and she'd always had their backs. The old Soldier owed her- and he hadn't exactly forgotten about Odessa. And the DC bridge.
That was a conversation for another day. For now, he could tell whatever she saw had hit her like a truck so he nodded at the bartender as she ordered and added. "Just pour it then leave the bottle, huh?" He was going to pay either way. Might as well save the guy a trip.
"Yeah?" He sighed and sipped his drink as Andre came over and poured Natasha her class then left the bottle as instructed. "It's a kick in the pants, ain't it?" He smiled sadly at her and reached for the bottle to pour himself another.
"I used to not consider myself a superstitious guy, but when shit like that starts appearing, you have to wonder what it means."
If she had finished her drink, he would offer to pour again, knowing full well she probably needed it. Bucky had some shitty nightmares. He imagined Natasha might have had worse.
