Percy frowned when the tears started spilling from Ginny's eyes, and he moved forward, away from the safe distance he had maintained to pull her close to him. He had gotten better with comforting people after the war, though he wasn't sure he would be entirely comfortable with someone crying. There were times after the war were Percy would catch his mum in tears several times a day.
Gently, he rubbed Ginny's back. "I only meant that I would give him all the space he desires, not that I would be unwilling to speak with him." He tried to affirm, though he knew that it wasn't much better. "I would be by your side." He promised, "If such a time were to come."
