It wasn't that Percy had memorized all of their birthdays, but he knew the time frame in which they all turned of age. 19 year old Harry would have been from around his time, a nineteen year old Hermione just short of that... But Ron, at 18? Percy found himself blinking. Had the war even happened for him yet? He supposed that depends on how newly 28 Ron had been. He licked his lips.
"What month did Ron come from?" He knew what Ginny was trying to earn him if, not only would he be younger than all of them, but he would still be in the midst of the reckless mental state they were all in during the throws of the war. It also meant that Percy... Well, he knew what his siblings thought of him era all at that time. "I suppose that might be why I haven't heard from him. No worries. I will stay out of his way." Percy resolved with his mouth forced into a nervous, tight-lipped smile.
He reached over and touched Ginny's shoulder. He knew a lot of the things Ginny had been through, they had bonded somewhat after the war. "Well, at least he isn't here." But Percy found himself checking off little boxes in his head, to ward his siblings apartment, his own, and the building as a whole as best he could. He had to imagine that his magic would work the same here as home... Even if it didn't exist.
