Ginny had adapted as best she could to her circumstances. Day one had been a bugger, and day two had involved....a lot of talking. Even for her. She'd talked to Harry, she'd talked to Ron, she'd talked to Hermione. Then she'd talked to Albus and Lily.
And despite all that talking, she still had dozens and dozens of questions. Some she was desperate to ask, others fearful because she wasn't sure she wanted to know much more about her future. And yet, how could she not ask questions and get to know two of her three children?
But even though she just arrived, school and work didn't stop for the rest of them. So after a weekend, she was left to her own devices. That mostly meant eating Ron's food and figuring out how exactly to work the laptop she was given on arrival.
At the knock on the door, Ginny rose from the table and closed the lid of her computer and hurried to the door, flinging it open to take in the sight of red hair, freckles, and a pair of glasses.
And then Ginny was launching herself at Percy, wrapping her arms around his waist and squeezing as hard as she could. "Hi, Perce."
