Sloane and Allison
“You would think they would be trying hard to control our movements.” Sloane mused. She had heard people talking about how they’d taken trips to LA or to New York. They made such an effort to keep them all lumped together, that it seemed strange that they would just allow people to travel on a whim. Especially people who had the skills and ability to simply… disappear if they choose. “The hospital was nothing compared to dad and Pogo’s lab when we were younger, but it was an interesting experience.” She admitted.
“But maybe they chose a big city because it’ll get noticed less if there are a lot of people coming in and out. You cant exactly hide an influx of people in a town of forty-five natives.” She suggested, “Or maybe it’s the complacency paradox. If they make it seem like we have everything we could want for here, then why would we want to leave? It becomes a better cage than a cage itself.” She shrugged.
Were you even really a Hargreeves if you weren’t at least passively paranoid about the government?
“I bet you would look great with Purple hair… or green. You wore a green dress to our wedding and it looked amazing on you.”
