Sloane and Open
To say that Sloane had never really been around this many people was… a lie. She had been to many press events, she had been surrounded by fans, they often had adoring fans watching Marcus work out most days, crowding the street in front of the home.
But this was different, people didn’t look at her like she was some hero to worship. People didn’t instinctively know her name before she knew theirs. She was just another person trying to make friends.
And… she didn’t have Ben or Marcus here to tell her not to have her third Boston Creme donut, or to remind her how much she’d have to run later to enjoy it.
She had a plate that was a mixture of fruit and puff pastries as she wandered around. She popped one in her mouth happily. “This… is divine.” She said to no one in particular.
