That made her laugh. More than she had and it had more heart to it. "I'm sure you would have been just fine. I wouldn't suggest poetry, though." More and more, Wanda was learning just how much she had not done in her life. She'd missed quite a bit with everything after that missile landed in her childhood home. Nothing was ever the same; nothing was normal.
She had tried, though. Even with fighting to defend the world and, then, Earth itself, Wanda had tried to find happiness and peace.
Luck just hadn't been on her side and she had to wonder, after everything Agatha had told her if being the Scarlet Witch truly was a curse.
Matt's question hit...deep. Quite deep. What would she be doing? Watching television with the boys and waiting for Vision to get home from work. She'd be cooking dinner or baking. Maybe she'd be helping the boys with homework. They weren't necessarily things people did to unwind, but for Wanda, they were the things that brought her pure joy and bliss.
"I will make you an offer. You could teach me how to play pool if you let me help you with your laundry situation. You will never have another pink shirt unless it's supposed to be."
It seemed like a fair exchange and it skirted over the question entirely. Even if he noticed, it would keep her from having to answer it at that moment.
