"Oh." Bruno sighed visibly, looking relieved, giving a slow and steady nod. But it was more for himself than Raylan because that was definitely a thing normal people did. And the man did offer to meet up for food and try to be his friend. Back at home Bruno was still working through the issues he had with his family and dissolving the very untrue idea the townspeople had about him and his magic. Making a friend so easily in an unfamiliar place was not what he expected but he couldn't be picky.
Not when there were so many friendly people on the network just offering it out there and upright. They were all trapped here together, so, better make the most of it.
What was that thing people did to greet each other? Shake hands. Bruno offered his hand, a universal greeting (he was pretty sure) to show that he was on the same page. "It's good to put a face to the text. Not that the fancy network hasn't been helpful." No. In person was definitely more healthy. He wondered how long it would be before Raylan would see the magic people here had or the things they spoke about happening. He seemed to be a 'seeing to believe' sort of person. Bruno didn't think too hard on it, least he have a vision. And if there was one thing he was trying to avoid here, it was that. "Well, I've spent a lot of my time here. First just looking for books and now working, which has helped with passing the time. Where you able to find a hobby or a job?"
