What: Two super powered kids and their newer super powers

This was getting old, fast.

It was really cool to be all kinds of animals, Peter wouldn't deny that. He'd covered enough species to start his own zoo by then. But he was really getting annoyed with not having thumbs. It would be better if he could figure out how to shift back to a human. Or if he could control when he shifted at all. It was stupid, he'd done this before, he wasn't exactly new to the whole powers thing. But this wasn't like his other "gifts", which seemed natural, like another part of him. This was just...way harder.

He'd managed to be a human long enough for May to let him out of her sight for a bit, so he'd gone and sat on the roof. He didn't necessarily plan on going out swinging just then - what if he shifted into something considerably less spider like mid flight? He'd managed a few birds, but that was no guarantee. But maybe if he just sat up here, minding his own business, he could focus enough to change at will.

Or he could sneeze and turn into a koala. "REEEE!" he hissed, which would have been swearing, were he not a small Australian marsupial.

For the first few days, Peni hadn't even realized she had a power. Dean had some weird ability to bring books to life, which had been entertaining. And Molly could turn into so many versions of herself. Peni had tried, while she was alone and nothing happened.

And then, when she was at school later in the week, it happened. Molly could hear peoples thoughts after passing a book to a classmate who had complained of the same power. A little later, she could fly when accidentally bumping into a different classmate. She didn't just have one power... her power was everyone she came nears power. And that had been a whirlwind of trying to figure out just how to control herself at any given moment.

Which is why she was coming to the roof to begin with. Itsy was perched on her shoulder, and she really needed to get her homework done... but it was hard to read from her history book when she kept absorbing Dean's literary powers. She did not want to be in the middle of a war.

She had come through the door just in time to see Peter shift from his teenage self into a cute little animal. She bounced over, placing her backpack down carefully, and patted him on the head. "Are you okay Peter?"

She should have known better than to touch him, cause no sooner than she did, she was toppling over, a nearly identical version of the Koala in front of her.

Peter’s little arms were flailing when he saw Peni come up. Maybe she could help! At least koala fingers were easier to type with than when he'd had duck feet. That one had been impossible and he'd given up quickly.

But then, to his surprise, Peni shifted, too. To also a koala. That was weird. His square little head tilted to watch her, confusion showing as best as it could on the face of a small gray animal.

Could koalas face plant? Well, he was going to try. He flopped over, in a clear demonstration of just plain giving up.

	Peni went to cry out in confusion when her body began to change, it just sort of became a strange sort of Koala squeak, and her arms sort of flailed, as she tried to move her new unfamiliar body. Not being able to talk to Peter to figure out if he was okay, she sort of just shoved at him, trying to make sure that he wasn't injured in anyway. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Honestly, if he'd been able, Peter would have laughed. This had to be the most absurd situation he'd ever been in. And there'd been plenty of weird ones before.

Now. How to get them both off of the roof. Could koalas climb? They had to, they lived in trees. Maybe he could climb down and get them help? He was kind of annoyed his spider powers didn't extend to--

Wait. What about her spider powers? As best as he could with koala paws, he attempted his best version of the Itsy Bitsy Spider. Maybe Itsy could somehow find help? He was not looking forward to koala climbing downstairs.

It took longer to figure out exactly what Peter was trying to say to her than she'd like to admit. Internally, Peni was still trying to focus and figure out how to change back. She wished she could control this new power of hers...

But Peni jumped up and down excitedly for a second, as best she could with her thick Koala body (it was not made for lateral jumping). She did her best to think about Itsy, she wasn't sure that it would work, but he usually came to her when she thought about him doing so.

He was coming. She nodded her head, hoping to convey that help was coming. In a few minutes there was a roar of noise, and the spider suit was levitating towards them. The hair on Peni's Koala body stood on end. When the Spider suit landed, the hate in the chest opened. The compartment comfortable fit Peni, so two Koala's wouldn't be an uncomfortable fit. She nodded her head towards the suit.
