Cleaning his entire apartment was not a simple task. Of course, Asriel would claim that it was all easy. It was just tedious, if anything. There was nothing overly difficult for him to accomplish. There just was a lot to put away and put away properly. Also, yes, he did have to search for Marisa's teapot. Thankfully, his past self had thought ahead and had placed the teapot in a the cupboard where it was kept safe from-
well. Him.
It wasn't like the teapots from home but it still was under Marisa's ownership. Asriel knew how she liked to keep her things so he took the extra time to make sure to give it an extra detailed but ginger cleaning before putting back in the cupboard while he tidied up everything else.
And that took the most of that Wednesday.
By the time that he had finished, he was a sweaty mess and his hands had gotten sore from the mop handle but everything was pristine. Thorold would have been quite proud of him. The apartment had probably never shined more. He'd even polished the door knobs. Once everything was put back into its place and away, Asriel managed to clean one last thing; himself.
His hair had just dried by the time he heard Marisa at the door.
