Jen was on edge with all the new arrivals. Only a few proved problematic so far, but she was on guard. She didn't want anyone else getting hurt, especially her family. Still, she had to work so she couldn't always be in the building, which worried her. What if they needed She-Hulk in a hurry? Needless to say, she was glad her work day was over. She parked her car in the nearby garage and headed for the building where she spotted Thor. "Thor! Hi!"

Thor had been concerned about the children when they had been taken, even if they were technically adults by Midgard standards, but he didn't think the others were truly threats. None of them had committed violence, none of them seemed to be making any grand movements. He knew there were some complications with a father showing up, but Thor knew about complex family relationships and thought that probably given time those could change. He had seen the change himself within his brother. Thor was... optimistic, but he was already to defend the people if they needed it.

He grinned when he saw Jen, his arms full of take away from a Chinese place. The two brothers tended to eat well, and Thor often ordered more food than was necessary for the two of them. "Do you have plans for Dinner? I am not sure if Loki is home yet, but you are welcome to join us!" He enjoyed Jen, the fact that she saw the good in his brother and was Bruce's cousin didn't hurt either.

	"Chinese food? You don't have to ask me twice." Jen smiled and stuck her car key in her bag as she followed Thor into the building and toward the elevator. "How was your day?" She liked Thor. He had been good to Bruce, which went a long way with her. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Do you like Chinese?" Thor asked with adjustment, her hadn't really met anyone who didn't, but he tended to enjoy just about any food put in front of him. "I enjoy the noodles, and I got two orders of Spring Rolls so Loki can keep his peace about the amount of vegetables I should be eating." He added with a playful roll of his eyes. It had been bad, when Thor had been depressed and only eating his comfort foods, but things were better now and he cooked more often than not (even if he wasn't the best still).

"Work was fine, it's getting nice and warm out again." Thor had been doing fine working as a park ranger, it mostly just involved him strolling around the park making sure everyone was having a good time and trash was getting taken care of. "How about you? You look concerned." Thor mentioned.

	"I'm fine," Jen replied. "Just a bit uneasy after what happened to Dee and the rest. Something still feels off and I don't like it." She punched the button to his floor and the doors closed. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Thor nodded when she spoke about what happened. He shifted the food into one arm and gently squeezed Jen's shoulders. "That... thing~" because Thor wasn't entirely sure what to call it, "It is gone now." Strange and Loki had done something that had secured it away. "Those type of monsters are complicated, can't win with strength alone."

"I know that May had similar concerns, and I know that there have been whispers of other people with ill intent but ... I don't wish to condemn them before their actions. How many people said similar things about my brother when he arrived?"

Thor nodded, "I took have been feeling dread since the rain, but at times that is normal for me." He nodded solemnly. "We will be vigilant, but I also don't think we should be prosecuting people before they prove themselves to be an issue."

Thor moved from the elevator and unlocked his apartment door, holding it for Jen to go through first. "I am always ready for a fight, should one come to us. Is there anyone in particular that makes you uncomfortable?"

	"No one has prosecuted anyone," she reminded him as she walked through the door. "No one in particular, it is just a feeling things aren't right here." The Station always kept them on their toes, but it was a new feeling not trusting their neighbors. She didn't like it. "I prefer being here, close to my family, in case they need me." Thor nodded at her words, "You do know that should anyone ..." he didn't know how to word it properly, he didn't want to make it seem like he didn't trust her ability, "If someone were to act unjustly toward you, it would be my honor to fight at your side." He smiled at her. "I've seen what Hulks can do first hand." He winked as he set down the food in the kitchen. "We prefer you here too, and part of the family."

"I am sure that it won't," Thor says with a little less enthusiasm than he would have liked to. He was never really sure what would happen around here, but everything would be okay if he had to make it be okay.

"Loki was an animal person as a kid," Thor smirked slightly, "He really enjoyed the horses as a kid, and would turn into weird reptiles to trick me " he grinned, "it always worked."

"He is the god of Tricksters for a reason." Thor had smiled. Their childhood had been peppered with memories of Loki playing tricks on him, and Thor falling for them every time. Nothing too serious ever came from it, and Thor had always seen it as harmless fun instead of malicious intent. Loki had been his most trusted advisor all through their young adulthood, until everything changed. Thor shook his head of that though, Loki was better now, and that was what was important. "It was fun, and Asgard was a beautiful place to grow up."

"I believe my brother is very fond of you, you know." Thor told her, waggling his eyebrows playfully. "It's nice to see him happy."
