Well, I certainly did not expect to find myself in San Francisco. Although judging from the fact that there are no dinosaurs roaming around the city, this does not seem to be my San Francisco. Not that San Francisco is mine, I wouldn't presume to suggest that. Er, more this is not the San Francisco from my world.

Er, sorry, this is all just a lot to take in, is all. I was just on Île Saint-Hubert, not that I want to go back there, so this is all just a bit of a shock. Although if we were able to recreate a perverse version of dinosaurs, I should not be surprised at the possibility of universe like ours existing.

Once again I find myself feeling very unhelpful given current circumstances. I see Lestat's been affected by this malady now. Are you alright?

I think I need some help. Like a lot of help. Like I have no idea why a spell that was supposed to reverse the age on a loaf of bread within the diagram instead reversed the age of random people in the building and I definitely made it worse trying to fix it. Is anyone good at magical troubleshooting?

The catch is that nobody but me can read the spells, Arra enchanted the laptop so it just looks like a game of spider solitaire to anyone looking at the screen but me. So... yeah.

With the sudden influx of newcomers, I find myself a little homesick. Would you all mind introducing yourselves and telling me a bit about where you've come from? I'll go first.

My name is Elphaba and I came here from a land called Oz, along with my best friend Glinda. Oz is rather small by comparison to this world, but we have a singular large city in the middle of our provinces called the Emerald City where, yes, everything is green.

Did anyone else find some of the clothing from last week in their wardrobe? I'm not sure where I'll have the opportunity to wear it, but I can't say I'm upset over it. I liked that dress.

In strange ways, this faire reminds me quite a lot of Munchkinland, despite being entirely different. The magic of this place has deemed that I should be a bookseller, so I suppose if you're needing something to read in the evenings or to help pass the time, we have plenty of offerings available.

And honestly, selling books? I think I'm fairly good at it. Maybe I should look into working at a bookshop when things get back to normal.

As we get into the summer months, how does everyone feel about a weekly movie night in the common area?

I'll set up a spreadsheet of family friendly suggestions and we'll figure out some way of figuring out what we're watching when. What are your favorites?

Easter is approaching. I understand the religious meaning, but I must say the idea of an Easter bunny leaving gifts is a funny thought. I keep imagining a giant bunny hopping from house to house.

In an effort to be more celebratorious of myself, my birthday is on Monday and I'm not sure what to do for it, if anything. Glinda suggested a party, but I'm not [...] the best at parties or being the center of attention like that. Rarely does it go well, if I'm honest. What could be smaller, but fun to do?

I didn't expect to be having pie for breakfast this morning, but a very nice man in a large truck had me guessing numbers this morning and gave me a free slice of a very good mixed berry flavor. He was just down the road if anyone else would like to visit him!

I don't regret getting an IT job. It's the only skills I've got outside of the whole superhero thing. But damn, I've asked people if they've made sure their computer is plugged in so many times today, and so many times the answer was no. No plugged in, no work, ¿comprende?
