I love hosting field trips and I adore these kids and watching them learn and explore but WHY does every school want to do them AT THE SAME TIME???

I'm almost as glad school is about done as the kids are. I need two margaritas, on the rocks, extra salt, and 12 hours of sleep thank you.

I think the mail courier mistakenly put concert tickets for tomorrow in my postbox this morning. Am I meant to actually care about the New Kids on the Block? I thought they'd all have retired or died by now.

I need to go shopping for a St. Patrick's shirt. Sure, I could buy it online, but where is the fun in that? Does anyone want to come shopping with me?

I made jokes about having never been in one of those cheesy Christmas movies and then I actually was sort of in one and don't think the irony is lost on me.

It did sort of make me miss acting, though. I think I might look into community theater around here. Something I can do on my own merit and not dubiously ethical means.

i didn't know there was an actual name for making fancy drinks. mixology? also didn't know you couldn't buy the most important things to put in the fancy drinks if you were under 21, so that was a no go. nobody really worried or cared about that kind of thing back home. luckily i found some cool ones that i've been playing with that don't require any of that. evie would say they're too pretty to drink but what's the point in making food if you don't eat it?

Thoughts and prayers to all the big city hot shots about to lose their fiancés to the good old boys back home who love Christmas and work in a Christmas tree lot/Christmas themed park/Christmas lodge.

Tis the season to find Allison in leggings and a comfy sweater with a mug of cocoa and these absolutely horrific formulaic movies. I'm proud to say I never did one, but I also kind of wish I'd done one.
