What do you say to a sleepover that weekend?

It's literally raining flowers outside for some reason (yes, I know, this place does weird stuff, etc) and now everything's covered in a copious amount of pollen. So that's great.

I don't suffer from allergies thanks to the nature of my plant magic.

So while I appreciate how the nice lady at the pharmacy tried, but the allergy medicine is not helping the way she assured me it would. I'm not sure any medicine here will help with this directly. I sneezed, and now I have a field of daisies in my room.

I'd just like everyone to know that I've officially replicated enough tiny dinosaur models for two armies. Which means there can be battles, if anyone's interested in passing the time with a friendly match. Winner takes the helm.

I tried to pick some of the flowers that are growing out of my steps, but they don't act like normal plants. They're pretty, and I enjoy seeing them as I walk, but I can't make them grow bigger, and I can't collect them to put them somewhere--that's in actual dirt and not the floor of my apartment.

On a different note, I have been accepted as a n00b for the San Fran Roller Freaks roller derby team. I start practice with them next week, but I won't be in bouts except as an alternative until I prove my chops. If anyone is interested in coming to a match, let me know!

I think I just might have a black thumb. That's the opposite of a green thumb, isn't it? Despite my best efforts to follow instructions, this plant of mine seems to be on a decline already. Someone help? I do love this little guy, but he doesn't seem to love me very much.

Great Oz I didn't mean to do this! I don't know how it happened, I didn't even touch the Grimmerie, but I can't find a way to fix it I'm so sorry I'm trying everything I can.

It's exciting and a little frightening how quickly things can come together once a decision is made. I still have waiting to do, because things don't start right away, but to have appointments scheduled is a weight off my mind.

It's also very annoying that getting them scheduled was easier than my brain was telling me.

This is all very vague, so something specific: Does anyone else want to go learn how to roller skate next Saturday?

Is it too early to start decorating for Halloween? Because I'm ready for the fun spooky shit now that the weather is getting cooler.

I woke up this morning with access to my Penstagram account. I can't post anything, and the feed isn't updating, but there's a picture of my dads from only a couple of hours ago. They're doing okay. So are the others.

But I'm not. I realized this morning that I haven't posted anything on here since March. I've replied to others, but I haven't actively updated the network. I think it's because I'm a little more than homesick, and I haven't wanted to worry anyone, especially you.

I don't like being not okay, so I started doing research at the library. I found a couple of things I want to try: Therapy for potential depression and roller derby.

Would you maybe want to do roller derby with me?

I almost ignored the man with the Pokémon. I don't want to become emotionally attached only to have it taken away. But the plant monkey, the Grookey, was too cute, and it's been helping me tend the community garden. I've found so many grass types here. Or, they found me. I haven't been actively catching them, but I think they can sense my plant magic and have been coming to me to help with minor injuries and ailments.

My magic seems to be stable again. How is everyone else doing?

So, has anyone seen Enid? Because it's not like her to miss a lunch date. especially wehen we're still working through our kissing experiments

I don't want to be here anymore. Too many weird things keep happening. and i'm feeling pretty lonely.

It would have been nice if the pigeons had left before my birthday, but I suppose it's not the worst thing in the world. Today, as a freshly minted 18 year old, I have registered to vote, bought a lottery ticket, and gotten takeout from my favorite Dominican restaurant. (Though the last one was more a result of lack of pigeons more than being 18.)


Anything else I should do with adulthood?
