What if we starting doing regular movie nights?

I know, logistics and all, but it should be easy enough to rig up a big screen in a big enough space to hold us all.

It's been a few days, there was the whole swing dancing thing - which apparently I was damn good at - but I should probably formally introduce myself. Probably.

Happy birthday to the woman who let her husband take in his brother's orphaned kid and raised him like her own. Whose love didn't fail even when that husband died, leaving the two of them alone. Who tolerates that kid putting on a skin tight suit and going out to defend those who can't always help themselves. Who fights for others in ways none of us super types could even imagine. And who makes the best chicken parm in existence. And I've been to Italy now so I can say that.

Usually, when I end up somewhere new, it doesn't come with a check, new tech and a place to live. Not complaining though, even if $5000 in California is barely enough to get a cup of coffee, I'll happily take it. Who knows, might use the check to hit the lotto and afford a burger or two. On second though, nah, my luck is crap.

Two of the bunnies stayed! Their names are Stan and Clyde.

We seem to have gained some unexpected company for the holiday. They haven't heard of I thought they might be from Narnia, at first, but it seems not. They are happy to make themselves at home, however.

Mr. Bruce and Mr. Tony made me fabulous bracelets that control my powers so I don't get big or small every time I have an emotion.

Having decades worth of knowledge crammed into my head all at once is a headache I would wish on no one and perhaps it was a wish I should have thought through a bit more, but I don't especially regret it. In fact, now that I've had a few weeks to process, I've registered for an EMT Course. City College seems to have a decent paramedic program to follow it up.

It isn't precisely the career I had in mind, but at least it's still medicine of a sort.

I really didn't think the whole leprechaun thing was real but it is. I told the one I found today that I wanted a little Jedi temple for meditation and study with a Force tree. I'll be damned if there isn't one now in an obscure corner of Golden Gate Park. I don't think anyone else can see it, at least it doesn't appear so but it's definitely real.

Did I mention how grateful I am that you’re here, at least?

There have been so many advances since the time Edmund and I cam here for. It's honestly pretty incredible, but I find myself feeling a bit at a loss for what to do with myself. I was working toward a career in medicine at home, but I have a feeling I'd have a lot to catch up on to resume my studies here. I'm not quite sure where to start, if I'm being honest.

I suppose it's something to talk to Ms. Smith about, but I was wondering if any of my fellow displaced had any recommendations.
