WHO IS WAVERLY? (Hi, new roomie I guess and I'm en route)

Hi, yes, hello. I introduced myself when I first got here and you have all been so incredibly welcoming so I'm really hoping I'm not overstepping any bounds here. But see, the thing is, when I got here I had my wife here. And then after she was gone I still had my ward. But now she's gone too. And I have been trying my hardest not to map out every single attack or odd happenstance that I can track down on the network to try to triangulate a location right now because I'm sure that better and more experienced minds than mine are already on it. But it's driving me bonkers and I don't know how much more I can take without something to take my mind off of my sister feeling so helpless.

GIANT HALLOWEEN BASH! Edge of Glory will be hosting, costumes OBVIOUSLY encouraged. Go as wild as you want but important bits must be covered because I love you all but I'm not losing my liquor license for you. There will be prizes for some categories (think best group, spookiest, funniest, best mashup, coupl ah fuck it cutest couple, and probably more as I think about them).

Family friendly till 8, 18+ after that (and shouldn't you smol people be Trick or Treating anyway?)

Drink specials all night long and we'll be open till 2am. Halloween is on a Friday this year and we're going BIG so go practice your best Thriller and I'll see everyone there!

Folks really ought to learn to hold their liquor better. Or choose better targets for a fight than someone at least three feet taller than them.

What do we think about having crew dinner by the pier this week? It might be interesting to try a new location, though I have enjoyed our dinners regardless of where we have it. It's just a suggestion.

Well, I certainly did not expect to find myself in San Francisco. Although judging from the fact that there are no dinosaurs roaming around the city, this does not seem to be my San Francisco. Not that San Francisco is mine, I wouldn't presume to suggest that. Er, more this is not the San Francisco from my world.

Er, sorry, this is all just a lot to take in, is all. I was just on Île Saint-Hubert, not that I want to go back there, so this is all just a bit of a shock. Although if we were able to recreate a perverse version of dinosaurs, I should not be surprised at the possibility of universe like ours existing.


Oh, I'm doing this all backwards. I'm Henry Loomis, Dr. Henry Loomis, although I don't know if there's a need for paleontologists here, so maybe the Dr. is irrelevant. I think I need a big cup or coffee or tea. Or maybe something stronger.

So, our kitten still needs a name. Or well, an official one before 'Spitfire' or 'Number One' sticks.


And don't worry, I found Hercules a great home at the barn. There's a couple who lives there 24/7 and he's happy with his new mommies and his Uncle Chris who comes to live there every day.

Two lovely young adults had birthdays this month whose celebrations were less than intended. And I still owe you both proper birthday dinners of choice.

And... we have a bit of a present for you both. Joint birthday/graduation present. I couldn't decide whether to make it a total surprise or have you involved, but I don't want to get it wrong, so...

How do you two feel about a car/van/whatever vehicle suits your needs? Whether for gigs or just to have / road trip? We can pick something out or customize something to suit...
