I guess since word is getting around and, you know, it'd be nice to actually be the one to tell people, I should let everyone know.

I've been working on a project for the last few months. You can blame Captain Rogers, he decided I should be a productive member of society or something. November 1st, we're opening a medical center. It's sliding scale income based but plot twist, displaced are treated for free because why the hell not. At least as long as my funds are here but apparently I could be snatched up at any time so who the fuck knows.

Those of you with slightly more...unusual needs, you'll likely be seeing myself or Dr. Tam. We at least know you exist as whatever it is you are and we can work from there. But no one gets turned away (unless you're on a trying to kill us all rampage and then, I mean, jury's out to be fair).

No, it doesn't have a name yet. You all know I suck at that part. Good thing I don't have to order the sign for another week or two.

Folks really ought to learn to hold their liquor better. Or choose better targets for a fight than someone at least three feet taller than them.

Hello! I'm newly arrived, and now awake and alert, so I thought I better introduce myself on here before you wondered who the random guy exploring the building was.

There are a few familiar names on the network, but with this being the multiverse and all you might not be the people I know and I might not be the Ray Palmer you know. Please say hi anyway, new friends are always welcome!

I see that there are some hero/vigilante types in this world and in this little part of the population, so another one won't be too much of an issue?

If you are into drinks or games, you should come see me at my new place of work — The Bit & Barrel. Can't say I've ever been a barkeep for money before, but I know my way around a pint. Apparently the customers like my accent — except the bloke who swore it was fake and was hexed for his trouble.

I'm working most Sundays because they're busy and need the hands, but I managed to get the next one off. Think we're due a proper roast, yeah? Cheer you up a bit since Ned has gone.

OOC: The Bit & Barrel doesn't exist. I made it up! It's loosely based on this San Francisco bar and one I went to about a decade ago. The general idea is an English pub on one floor, and a second bar and several rooms with all kinds of arcade games in the basement. The lower floor is definitely loud/sensory overload. The first is a normal pub-style establishment. Use as it suits for yourselves/your characters. Address and other info will be on the reference sheet in due course!

I have been here long enough to see times like these, where a larger group arrives or returns all at once. It does not make anything easier, it will likely never get any more easy to deal with when we lose loved ones.

But now is a time for support. Ask for it, provide it, whatever you need or are able to do. Check on your neighbors, "our people" or otherwise. The smallest offering can make a world of difference in times like these. We are in this together.

I think I need some help. Like a lot of help. Like I have no idea why a spell that was supposed to reverse the age on a loaf of bread within the diagram instead reversed the age of random people in the building and I definitely made it worse trying to fix it. Is anyone good at magical troubleshooting?

The catch is that nobody but me can read the spells, Arra enchanted the laptop so it just looks like a game of spider solitaire to anyone looking at the screen but me. So... yeah.

I suppose I didn't make it known when I first arrived that I'm an experienced doctor and trauma surgeon. Should anyone here need my services for any reason, I will do everything in my power to help. Please do not hesitate to reach out.
