May and I have been discussing getting Morgan and Peter a puppy for the holiday season. There are several in the local shelter. I was thinking we could drive them there under the guise of going out to brunch.

Yes, I was holding back, because I'd rather not go down for manslaughter barely a month after getting here.

All that said, I'm so glad that dumb bird is gone.

Also, I now live with a former colleague who ALSO happens to be my ex.
