I walked out of the house in my circus costume today.

Not my current one, oh, no.

No, I'm talking the vintage one with the tunic/skirt. And miles and miles of purple spandex.

No wonder everyone kept trying to take my picture on the bus. Need more coffee than currently exists in this reality.

I've seen a few residents and friends alike talk and mention the sounds that come with the firework celebrations during holidays. Especially for July 4th.

If...it would be acceptable for everyone living within The Station, I could place a soundproofing spell around the building. I would offer to extend the spell a block or two in all directions, but I'm not sure how the natives of this San Francisco would react to the sudden silence.

Magic isn't always a comfortable subject for everyone, so know that my feelings will be far from hurt if you would rather not have that large of an enchantment placed around your home.

How's everyone else?

It's not exactly what I was doing back home, but I landed a job as a photographer with the San Francisco Chronicle. Most of the writers I'm working with seem pretty relaxed but one is super intense. That's the one I plan to follow the most!

Now other than holiday barbecues, what do you all do around here? I've been warned about weird things and now there's some guy talking about a swearing duck.

Being honest, I didn't really miss San Francisco. But in some ways it's good to be back. The Tower isn't there, though

I spent way too much of that starter money on equipment. But guess who has a podcast and I'll be streaming online, doing what I do best.

AND I got in the door at one of the local radio stations but they're not ready to hop on board with my show which is fine. They're going to let me have some late-night slots since their current intern rotation is switching up. I got to record some demos for them and BAM! In.

If you're a night-owl and enjoy music from before the 90s, tune in to Highway 1 (KOIT 96.5 and KFOX 98.5 depending on location) from 11pm onward Wednesday through Friday.

Also: if anyone here is good with websites and social media, I am totally behind in the times and could use a hand in setting something up for myself. Right now we are in total newbie-zone.

And as a final note, if you're a REALLY late person or a REALLY early person and would like to get a 4am breakfast or coffee when I get off shift let me know. I am usually amped after a show and could use the company. But I know most people aren't up for that.

Still not the weirdest thing that's happened to me. It's not even the weirdest thing that's happened to me in the last week.

Anyway, hi. The lady who met me and sent me here told me to introduce myself so I guess here I am or whatever. I'm Donna Troy Wonder Girl?? and I'm a photographer by trade but I have no idea how that's going to translate here.

That said, I'm looking for a Dick Grayson, Kory Anders, Dawn Granger, Rachel Roth, Gar Logan, Conner (I don't think he ever picked a surname?? Kent maybe? Definitely not Luther) or Tim Drake. Or Diana Prince, I wouldn't turn seeing her down, either.

God, I could use a drink. It's been a wild couple of days.
