So, first of all, I know it's a few days after but I totally needed some processing time. And I had some gross finals and stuff to study for.

Second, James kind of proposed over the weekend. Like, full out super sweet dinner date, too.

Lastly, I totally said yes because, duh, we're meant to be together and he's obviously the best.

It's Mothers day today. Last year was a hard one. And this year, I saw my mom. I guess she was a ghost. It made me sad, because we didn't get the chance to talk.

But I didn't want it to go by without acknowledging it. I miss her and Tía today. But here I have Yelena and Natasha.

Yelena, I'm so lucky that you're my guardian. Happy Mother's day. I love you.

I know weird things are happening, but the show must go on, and my kids at school have worked hard on their Spring musical.

So, every resident of the Station has a ticket waiting for them at the high school for one of the three performances of Into the Woods this weekend--tonight, tomorrow night, or Sunday Matinee--or closing weekend in two weeks (same schedule). You don't have to let me know when you're coming. Just give your name at the door. You're on the list.

They have next weekend off for prom, which I am chaperoning (I hear you laughing from here, Carol).

Thank goodness it's fall because do you know how difficult it is to match things with orange? Everything has to be the right shade and the right accessory or else it just looks like a tub of crushed and mushed carrots.

We could probably use some new plates and some better throw pillow covers, so, Fashion House, you can leave that IKEA gift card in my capable hands, cool?

Whoever thought bringing back the fashion and styles from the '90s was a good idea? Please tell me how I can send them an immediate thank you basket. They should have never left if you ask me.
