It is my creation day. I understand my existence baffles some, but I am entirely grateful to Tony, Bruce, and Thor for their part in giving me life. I do not take any day for granted, especially with Wanda and Billy, but today I'm especially happy.

A very happy birthday to Diana! I know you haven't been her too long yet, but we're happy to host a dinner at the apartment tonight if you want to invite some people over. Just tell me what you want on the menu and we'll make it happen.

If you want it mermaid themed, we could probably make that happen.

I feel like this doesn't need to be said, but if anyone even thinks of pulling some shit (sorry Molls, $5 coming your way) on me today, I will 100% guarantee you'll spend the rest of the day as a pig.

I like bamboo shoots as much as the next guy but this craving is ridiculous. The little old couple working the Chinese takeout (why is it always a little old couple?) looked at me funny when I asked for extra-extra-extra bamboo and I didn't even know how to explain it?! Extra carrots maybe, extra broccoli sure, but extra bamboo?

Is this a This Place thing? I feel like this is a This Place thing because even as a Certified Emo (circa 2009), this is a weird amount of black and white.

Still somewhat in disbelief that Una agreed to marry me and the world hasn't ended. (Yes, I'm knocking on wood and throwing salt over my shoulder.)

I'm going to put up some fliers, but before the Blood Moon I asked Dr. Banner if there was an astronomy club at the high school. He said there wasn't, but that we could start one! The school already has the equipment!

Since we've gotten a fair amount of new arrivals, I'll put out the offer.

Do we have anyone with any kind of retail management experience who might be looking for work? I am also (ugh) willing to train a willing candidate with solid availability. I've got this entire shop just sitting there empty and it deserves better than that. It wasn't exactly our dream, but Christine and I did build it together and I'd like to be able to honor that. I've just never exactly been good with customer service.

Full benefits, higher pay than you'll find almost anywhere in the city. Some knowledge of Eastern medicine and herbal remedies would be great but a willingness to learn is the only real requirement.

So we won't be getting the eclipse until the middle of the night here but that hasn't stopped me before. If anyone wants to join us down at the high school, I've got all of the telescopes set up to view tonight's Blood Moon. Bring blankets and get comfy. I'm fairly sure I can talk the most beautiful woman I know into helping me make some snacks for everyone.

So, I'm not sure if folks have their spring breaks planned out already or not, but the museum has given me a grant to go on a dig and have said I'm allowed to take students with me. I'll be there for close to two weeks - around March 23 to April 3.

UC Berkeley & Stanford have spring break the first week and the high school is off the second week. Folks are welcome to stay as long as they want during that time. I'll also need chaperones, so adults, if you want to come, we can make it happen.

As for sites, currently debating between Montana, Wyoming, and the Dakotas. Should have that finalized in a week or two.

Upside to not sleeping: you can do the night shift at the 24 hour diner and not fall asleep in class the next day. And people are being weirdly chill about the wings thing.

So I know there's a lot of people here who can do magic and there's lots of different kinds but is there anyone who's like...actively studying magic? And how to do it correctly? Or like... Okay, if it's weird say so, but is there a Coven around here?

There's someone new here. Her name is Diana and she's pretty new to doing magic. Apparently she's got this whole Light vs Dark thing going on in her and she has a hard time controlling the Dark part and I was kind of wondering if maybe you had any advice for her or if there was anything you could do to help her or anything and you obviously don't have to, especially if it's like triggering or anything but if you could or if you know anything that might help her, that'd be really cool.

Having Pony join in while I did yoga wasn't intentional and he makes my downward dog look like trash next to his. But I got a load more viewers because of it. Turns out Yoga is just spicy enough to earn me some dollars 😉

I also modeled for the photography class and I look like I want to go home in every single shot. No wings yet 🙁

I've never been the 'new kid' in school before. Back home, the town was small enough that everyone knew everyone else. You'd be with the same people from kindergarten to high school.

Don't get me wrong, it has its draw backs: Everyone knows everyone else's business, you'll run into your ex way too frequently, and your parents will always know everything you've been up to. But I think standing up in front of your homeroom and awkwardly introducing yourself might be worse.

Still, glad to be done with learning online. Easier to focus in person.
