No way you can get from Indiana to California that quickly- Unless you use portals or teleportation or wormholes but two would take an enormous amount of constant energy consumption and the other would probably spit you out in a different universe. This is supposed to be theoretical but now it's science fact? Though given what we deal with... maybe I should have expected other weird science to be real, but I didn't think about it because we had enough to worry about.

I'm really glad I listened to that little voice in my head that told me to buy some warm gloves, a hat, and a heavy coat a month ago. I've never experienced cold like this before, and I hope to never do so again.

I'm also really glad I don't have to venture out into it, much. Online school would've been a boon back in the 80's, and I'm thankful for it now.

Mike and I have been talking about it off and on for awhile, so I figured I would see how much interest other people might have in joining a D&D campaign. If you don't know how to play, we can teach you. It's not as hard as it might seem. We can even do a one shot if anyone wants to try it out, but isn't super committed yet. It can get pretty time consuming, but is a lot of fun. We have some ideas already in the works and Mike is one of the best DMs around.

It's been some time since I've been to San Francisco and this skyline is pretty different than I remember (unless you're counting archival photos, which I'm not). The Golden Gate bridge looks as expected, at least.
