I'm pretty sure we all know that Mike's birthday is coming up soon, so I wanted to get with everyone to plan something. See what ideas we might have between us to put together.

I have a few ideas, but I was leaning towards getting some of those bikes you can pay to use for the day and we could ride around to some of the landmarks around the city. Take some pictures. Maybe drop by the arcade at some point along the way.

If anyone else has other ideas, let me know?

Hey J&J, could I ask for a favor?

Will's birthday is Sunday and I was thinking we could bring everyone to this ceramics studio on Castro. You can paint basically whatever you want, including D&D minis, and they fire glaze it which looks awesome.

Steve usually drives us but we need some extra seats. Could we borrow a car you give us a ride? Probably just me and Will so it'll be kind of a surprise for him.

Months in Hawkins, but two days here. Forgot everything I learned when I went back, but now I remember again. Yeah, everyone's right: This whole thing is nuts. Definitely have a lot more context for dimensions and wormholes now.

No way you can get from Indiana to California that quickly- Unless you use portals or teleportation or wormholes but two would take an enormous amount of constant energy consumption and the other would probably spit you out in a different universe. This is supposed to be theoretical but now it's science fact? Though given what we deal with... maybe I should have expected other weird science to be real, but I didn't think about it because we had enough to worry about.

Mike and I have been talking about it off and on for awhile, so I figured I would see how much interest other people might have in joining a D&D campaign. If you don't know how to play, we can teach you. It's not as hard as it might seem. We can even do a one shot if anyone wants to try it out, but isn't super committed yet. It can get pretty time consuming, but is a lot of fun. We have some ideas already in the works and Mike is one of the best DMs around.

Think we'll get many people? It would be cool to put some of the things we've been talking about into play. Even if we get just a small group together.

Hey. I was thinking, should we get Mike, Will, Eleven, and Max together for a little Christmas party just for them? So they can celebrate together before they get dragged to whatever family things we'll all be at. Bruce, I know we're probably crossing over at Dick and Jason's place, but I'm sure the rest of you have plans already for the big day.

I think I found a space for us. It does have a neighbor, but the house abuts a wooded area where we could run.

It's 90 minutes South, on about 20 acres, and it's set up to be a vineyard. We could use that as a cover.

For Thursday, I'll make cinnamon rolls and a fruit salad for breakfast, then I think we have invitations to join other dinners, so we'll pick and choose where we go for actual Thanksgiving.

Henry is joining us at Phil and Matt's, and I'll officially introduce him as my boyfriend. Partner? My person. At any rate, we had the intentions talk, and that's where we landed. I wanted the three of you to be the first to know.

Another piece of home is gone.

Holidays are coming up but don't really feel that celebratory...But at the very least this place saw fit to gift me my laptop from my lab. Good to have my notes and my media files and well...everything. My life was in there. I did miss my playlists.
