Second Chances: the Network

So... does school do a lot of holidays? Not that I'm complaining.

I got a kyber crystal. I mean I got it a few days ago, but I finally decided to share I got something from home. Still not sure how picking up that feather did it...

This is a new sort of new. Wasn't quite expecting this, but guessing no one does.

What the kriff- Name's Poe. Got the rundown and a key. Guess this will teach me to have a moment of wanting a vacation. My wish got twisted when granted or something.

Since we've had a few new arrivals, I figured it'd be worth it for me to tell folks what I do here. I run a a bit of a consulting firm, that draws on the talents of many of our residents. Consider it an unofficial loose network of superheroes, do-gooders, and vigilantes.

We keep tabs on local chatter from law enforcement and the like and help out where possible, doing what we can to help get clean up the city and make it safer.

If you have skills that you think could be useful or want to help out, feel free to let me know.

...I never thought I'd miss my stint at the Academy. At least that was more interesting than this school thing. I am not made to sit still for so many hours a day.

Also, I feel like I need to study pop culture to even get references people are making.

Overall though? This place isn't too bad.

Whatever's happened to the city almost makes me wish I was a biologist. As it is, I've spent much of my free time exploring the various regions - so much biodiversity, it's incredible. It does make me wonder whether you could construct something like this to counter the effects of global warming. Or, back home, to make regions further from the equator more hospitable for dinosaurs.

Unfortunately, though not for lack of trying, I haven't found many fossils, I wonder if that's because these biome regions are not exactly natural - or rather, they were almost instantaneous and not over the thousand or years or more that it normally takes an environment to change.


On a different note, does anyone have a favorite spot for rock climbing around here?

I know I had reservations about joining the military to get away from the homestead and all the bullshit that came with it but this is still not what I meant.

How's my favorite archer?

I spent an embarrassingly long time thinking what to say. First impressions are important, aren't they? The government men explained it all to me of course. Strange city on a strange planet in a whole different galaxy than I know. No way to get home. All of you are all that I've got, really. And now I'm part of what you've got, too.
