Well, that’s certainly one way to start my birthday! A side quest unlike my usual ones.

It’s lucky my colleagues are used to my sudden dashes from the office. Though I was speedier in my return this time.

It is my creation day. I understand my existence baffles some, but I am entirely grateful to Tony, Bruce, and Thor for their part in giving me life. I do not take any day for granted, especially with Wanda and Billy, but today I'm especially happy.

I have a new job. I'll be working at the Exploratorium. I decided to accept the offer there. It was a hard choice as I had both Academy of Science and Exploratorium to choose from. They are more geared towards engineering which is still my first love. Thanks to everyone who supported this change ♥

I'm a little bit inspired to also sew again. So don't be discouraged to bring me your super suits. Which are my specialty as far as that goes.


Forgot entirely about my birthday last week save for Rose's post...belated birthday drinks maybe yes? and yes Rose you also should come :p

I'm getting really tired of all of this rain. I'm sure the first nice day, we're all going to be out enjoying the sun.

Didn't expect to have a birthday with a tail, but it's definitely better than the last few. Did make dancing harder, but once you dry off, good to go??

AND I landed a job (thanks for the tip, Cisco, you're brilliant!) and I had to come up with about 4 excuses to postpone orientation and onboarding because it WON'T STOP RAINING and I'm a girl who needs a magical portal directly from one inside to another inside or else I'm going to be an exhibit at the museum and not, you know, an exhibits coordinator.

I can't sleep. I don't know how long it's been. Cat seems to like me now though which is interesting.

I went to the job fair that popped up...I have interviews at the Exploratorium and the Academy of Science in various departments at the end of the week. I'd already called ahead with much encouragement from Henry and it was initially scheduled for end of April but has been moved up.

One of the orange barn cats decided I was taking it home apparently. I never expected to have a cat? He's very judgmental though. Kind of amuses me. I've decided his name is Mylo.

Always thought I'd end up with another dog. But here we are googling cat stuff.

I'm bored.I actually bothered to clean my room, I watched Tim study and obsess over what's due Monday, I found lost socks from the dryer (aprox. 20 lost pairs found), went to the park and touched grass.

Saturday is overrated.

I never had time back home to explore things like museums or other interests outside of STAR Labs. It's...I don't know. Both kind of exciting and a little bit feels like I'm not allowed to? Idk. I feel a little guilty doing so sometimes? Brains are weird.

I don't think I'm getting wings. It feels a little pointed. Like, "you get to do ghost things at night, you don't get to fly, too" kind of pointed.

Even the new guy in my English class, who started school last Wednesday, showed up at school on Friday with badass, punk rock dragon wings.

Yes, I'm being petulant about it. No, I don't care that I am. I'm this close to stomping my foot and demanding a lollie as a consolation prize.

I wish whomever gave us these wings would tell us when they were going away. They really be getting in the way. Much easier to fly without them.

You know what, not even the weirdest thing that's happened to me. And I do appreciate the jump through realities being accompanied by guidance and an apartment for once, even though that implies it's going to be a long term stay.

First, a nap. Because apparently reality jumping is exhausting no matter which direction it goes. Then food would be great and I know I'm stuck in the States where good chips are highly unlikely but I'll settle for mediocre 'fries'. Recommendations are accepted.

...Also the dog does I found during the ice does seem to have an owner. That owner wants him back. :/ I don't love today. He's going to come get him in an hour.

Uh... so I'm really glad that the weather's back to normal. Really glad. But... has anyone seen Steve today? I tried to drag him outside and he's not in the apartment. He's not answering his phone either. His stuff is still here, car included.

What is going on? How much should I be concerned about this? Because Steve wouldn't leave without saying something... usually.

How do folks feel about a community luau this weekend? Indoors and maybe with a bit of magic to set the tropical vibe.. Some cupcakes and music...

As near as I can figure, counting from the solstice here, I turn sixteen today. I didn't expect to even notice it, being honest, with the way things are back home. I wish I miss
