So, Halloween! Great holiday but I have no idea what to wear for a costume. Vampires are not, I know too many personally and it would feel wierd. Maybe a wizard? A zombie? I'm open for suggestions.

Dobby has always worked on Halloween, so what does one do to celebrate the occasion? At Hogwarts there was always a feast, but Dobby never attended.

The importance of American Football is fascinating. I just wrote a piece on one of the running backs for the 49er's and never in all my years of writing profiles have I gotten so much love and hate.

My favorite being: "You did nOT DO HIM justic."

Well, that was predictable.

Decorating for the holidays when you live alone is depressing not fun. I miss Lily and Scorpius.

Not having my original manuscripts is making this next book tricky. Without a way to reference past events to ensure continuity, I may need to put everything on hold and attempt the start of a new series. Still mystery, however. Who doesn't love a good mystery?

While I brainstorm ideas for a new story, Thing is curious to know if anyone has any Halloween costume ideas for him. He says he's tempted to try a new polish for the occasion but that he would much prefer to get into the spirit with something more this year. Should anyone have suggestions, I'll be sure to pass them along. And he's already thought of disembodied hand in a candy bowl, as a note.

I miss my friends more than I even imagined I would. Perhaps I should find something to keep myself busy.

Mini-golfing was a lot of fun and the hats were great (thank you, Al!)

What other things like that should I know about?

Also, I am considering turning one of the walls of the art studio into a mural. Would anyone like to join in and paint it? All talent (or non-talent) is welcome!

Hello! Saturday, September 23rd is Stiles’s birthday! 🥳 It’ll be on the rooftop, and it’ll be a mostly casual party. It’s a joint one for him and Scott.
