I thought that I would fall apart after Michael left. But I'm actually doing rather well here.

However, I need to meet people and make friends. A non-social Maria makes for a Maria with too much time to think.

	My favorite thing so far is that I was hired at a job I love after only being here a few days. It's not the same as owning my own place, but it's enough like working there that I like it. What's your favorite thing? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	The job situation is so nice here. I appreciate how easy it is considering how many odd jobs I cycled through back home. And especially when it's something you love. And hey, you can work up to owning your own. The people. It's nice to see what they get to do here that they might not get back home. Even if it stinks when they leave. 	For the most part. There's the hiccups, but I've gotten to get to know people I wouldn't have other wise. It's nice. Even when them leaving throws you for a loop.
