San Francisco! What a treat! Normally I get stuck in LA or Star City when I come to this coast, but so far this place is better than both. Hands down. And not just because I got money and a place to live just for showing up, I swear. Gotham has a similar welcome program, though that's usually a vial of fear toxin antidote and a one-way ticket to literally anywhere else.

Anyway, I'm Emily. Lia, if we're friends, which I hope we'll all be. Some of you might know me from my talk show, or modeling career. I was also a superhero for a while, Looker, if you wanna put a face to a not-at-all secret identity. I'm over that whole thing now, happy to move on to a life where people don't actively try to punch me or make me sit under hot studio lighting. Retirement is about having fun, right? That's what I want to do. Anybody know where I can find some fun?

My heart is breaking, but I think I'll live. I was never A list, at least not outside Gotham, but it was nice being known everywhere I go.

Thank you. And it is apparently pretty common, isn't it? On my show, we did a few episodes on former superheroes and a lot of them became celebrities in other fields.

It's a weird spot to be in. I'm lucky I've got my brother here who can at least remind me from time to time I was once THE Allison Hargreeves. But now I'm just a regular soul like everyone else.

Oh, wow. Really? I guess I never thought about it. Supers aren't as common in my world as they are in this one. After we all split up, I was the only one to really go for fame and I didn't exactly earn it. My sister wrote a book, but I wouldn't say it skyrocketed her to the red carpet.

They say humility is good for the soul or whatever. I figure that maybe it isn't terrible to not be stared at and have paparazzi following you all the time. Like I don't have to worry if my hat is big enough to hide my face for a midnight ice cream run in my pj's here, I'm sure.

Meta humans are pretty common in my world, most of us become supers in one way or another. Are we talking like a book or a book?

I'm sure you're great, Luke. Nothing all that special about being a superhero or a celebrity anyway, the money isn't even as good as you'd think. But a different galaxy is fascinating, I bet this is all a wild culture shock for you.

Like unlimited free time. It's not as impossible as it sounds, most of the time. The key seems to be living close enough to other supers for them to take care of whatever is going on at any given time.
