Yay for Mondays! I kept looking at my email all day looking for your post ^_^
Seems like Teddy is looking at Remus almost like a boyfriend. I mean Teddy is reacting like someone who is being rejected by their lover rather than teacher/student. It was smart of Remus not to touch Teddy at the end. I thought it was not so much for Remus's sake, as to reaffirm Remus's point that he was a teacher and not a long term lover. Teachers don't comfort with hugs and kisses, whereas a lover would if their lover was hurting. And of course it seemed like a form of punishment by Remus to withhold the physical affection, because Teddy wasn't behaving correctly.
It's a good thing that Andrew came along :) I'm enjoying Andrew's character and am looking forward to reading more about their developing relationship. I would love to have Teddy bring Andrew over to Remus's for dinner with Sam there, and they could all have a nice dinner together :D
It was good that Teddy realized he wasn't ready to have "proper sex", lol. Maybe Remus always asking him if he wanted to do such and such a thing and encouraging Teddy to refuse if he didn't want to do something, helped Teddy make the correct decision for himself.
He'd done it--sucked someone off, made someone come, someone who wanted him What a confidence and ego boost for Teddy. Remus rejecting him at that time, and here comes Andrew who wants him and compliments Teddy, that's a good thing :)
I'm wondering if Remus should really be the one that Teddy has "proper sex" with for the first time. I mean, if Teddy learns everything, does it really have to be his Dad? Wouldn't he maybe even get to the point where he says, "You know Dad, I really appreciate everything you've taught me, and I do love you, you know that. But I want it to be Andrew. I really care about him." Anyway those are my thoughts about that.
This was great as usual, and now you're going to make me wait another 6 days! :(
