Who: Alice and Elizabeth, open to Vlad, Caroline and Erin as well, though! Where: Aforementioned Dracula estate When: February 2, evening Rating: TBD? Why: Alice needs to do things! Status In Progress
Alice had been extremely fearful of just what was to become of her the moment she'd set foot on the grounds of the estate. There were two others with her, a fact she was trying not to read into as a very quiet warning of "you're expendable." Honestly, though Vlad himself had examined her with a thoroughness she hadn't been entirely comfortable with, the Slayer wasn't quite sure what purpose she'd serve. Having had little time for such things in what she'd come to call Slayer Boot Camp, she was a fairly inexperienced virgin, having maybe made it to first base and then tried to go to second before getting picked off. But some Masters were into that kind of thing, so it was hard to be sure. There was also the matter of the semi-illegal slave fights underground, which she supposed she could be useful for. Her high school drama club theater talent wasn't much to speak of either, and she doubted Dracula had been impressed to learn that she had been a national champion cheerleader.
That was why she'd laid very low. Well-behaved, quiet little Alice, mousy and awkward to the point where most might second guess her status as a Slayer. Though it took her time to treat her Master and his wife in a proper and not exceptionally clumsy way, she was learning. She'd explored what parts of the expansive home she was allowed to explore, and, all in all, she was settling in as much as a sheep in a wolf's den could settle at any rate. Hey, they hadn't drained her like a vampire Capri Sun, which counted as a win in her book.
Keeping up with her physical training would be harder without her Watcher to practice with, but, when she knew everything she could about the place and the people who lived in it, there was really little else to do. Alice had long since picked out a relatively open room that would be suitable for at least some exercise and practice with a minimal chance of breaking something important in the process. It was odd, really. She hated the fact that she'd been called, unsure of this burden on her shoulders and questioning whether or not the universe had made some sort of cosmic mistake selecting her as one of its Chosen. And here she was, dressed in the most suitable clothing she had at her disposal and in the middle of a set of one-handed push-ups. Maybe she'd gotten used to it, thus making her training a comfort to her in a place where she was still uncertain about so many things.
Switching arms, she tucked her right one behind her back, continuing a fresh set with her left hand on the floor. Counting aloud as was habit to her, Alice tried to use this time to clear her mind and focus on anything but the uncertainty that was her fate now. Really. Dracula of all the vampires in the world. Her Watcher was going to have an aneurysm when he found out.
