With night falling, Leaute still found herself unable to settle down. It was hard to relax or even think about winding down in a place like this, steeped in darkness where she never knew when she'd be summoned to her Master or when she'd run into him. She was glad she'd been able to talk with Rey, but she wasn't exactly pleased to know that someone else would be sharing what little she herself had come to fear already from Kylo Ren. She was left conflicted, unsure of what to do that was both in her best interest and Rey's without compromising who she was.
Finding a relatively isolated room, one she assumed was open to her as the door hung open, she walked inside with Raava the only light source. Finding a couch of sorts to occupy in what she guessed was a meeting room, the summoner slipped her boots off, still in the relatively form-fitting striped sweater, short and pleated navy skirt and leggings she'd put on earlier, and drew her knees up to her chest as she closed her eyes and simply took a moment to sit and think. Opening her brown eyes, she smiled at Raava sitting on the couch across from her. It was oddly symbolic, Leaute thought ruefully, the dark room with the avatar that rested its head comfortingly in her lap the only light.
"It's not the case anymore though, is it Raava?" she spoke softly in Mandarin to her companion. It was a habit she'd swiftly developed, something she did so that most of the knights or staff who passed by, possibly even Ren himself, wouldn't be able to immediately know what she was saying. "Where there was one light, now there are two. I wonder if we're stronger now or not? I should probably practice more, in any case. It's as Mother used to say. If you aren't strong enough now, work to make sure you can become strong enough for when you have to be." As she spoke, she conjured two orbs of light, one in her left hand and one in her right, combining them so that her hands clasped together made a brighter light. Perhaps she'd be able to find a way to get in touch with Belle soon. Her twin sister was probably furious, mostly at her for being such an idiot.
"One more day gone, though," Leaute went on from there in English, the lights in her hands fading as she willed them. The summoner rested her right hand atop Raava's head. "Almost, anyway. Go ahead and rest. I don't want to fall asleep here and have someone find you." The primal of light tilted its head to one side, intoning a soft trill that was almost musical. "I'm sure, see?" She held up one hand, letting it glow faintly again. "I have my own light." Assured with that for now, Raava nuzzled the summoner's faintly glowing hand before vanishing into the darkness, back to the plane of light that was her home. Alone now, Leaute rested her head on the back of the couch, watching the snow fall outside a nearby window, hand still glowing faintly like a night light.
