Leaute had made it a point to lay low during the days that followed the assault on the town that she'd been forced to watch. Ren had not been pleased that she had intervened, twice at that, and she took the words Kenshin had imparted to her to heart. Much as it was important for her to make it clear to him that she would not falter in her principles, going out of her way to get on his bad side certainly wouldn't help that whole 'see the next day' thing she was going for either. With the dawn of a new week, however, she was more or less back to what she guessed could be considered normal for her now. Dressing herself in a navy, red and white striped short with a white collar and navy skirt, she pulled on some leggings and boots, drawing her long, dark hair into a ponytail. If she could start to look like herself on the outside, maybe she'd be able to feel more like herself in time.
The moments between interaction with her Master were filled at first with getting to know as much of the expansive estate as she was allowed, Raava trailing her to the side like a dog might. It was only in the direct presence of Ren or his Knights that she banished the creature of light, a creature she considered a dear friend, back to the plain from which she had first been called so many years ago. It was, walking the halls again, that Raava's presence made her realize how alone Rey must've felt after everything that had happened.
So, that Sunday afternoon, Leaute found herself looking around the house for Ren's newly acquired slave with Raava present as always to serve as another set of eyes in case others would be watching. She wasn't sure how much the other girl had explored, so she started with the more commonly occupied rooms on the main floor.
