It was easy to tell that things were uneasy around the house, worry seeping through the very halls. Calliope did her best to try and help by making sure the house was kept up and that her master had some to listen to him. But she wasn't sure how well she was doing. There was a lot about Zekk's world and his ways that she just didn't understand. She could at least grasp that he was some sort of balance bringer though. But still she wasn't sure what she could do to help.
One idea that she had was to cook for him. She was getting better at actually using the stove. the only trouble was that she wasn't sure what to make and she couldn't go out to the market. It was the one downside of living outside of the town. Nothing was in walking distance. It took a few minutes of thought but she remembered that there were some berry bushes in the nearby woods. Which had led her on her own adventure out into the forest, bowl in hand while her master did...whatever it was he was doing.
She had come in through the back door as the sun had set, hearing the man calling her. Setting the bowl down she followed the sound of his voice as she slipped her jacket off. "Zekk? Did you need something?"
