Who: Greg and Ryan Where: Greg's home When: 4/4, Morning What: Ryan get a rude awakening Rating: Will be high Status: Closed/In progress
It was a normal Monday morning when Ryan woke up and got ready for work. He would kiss his love before heading out. The kiss would probably take longer than a normal kiss, a promise of what is to come after work. Ryan smiled. "Later, Greg." And with that he would be out of the door and on to work. The drive was not all the long, but during it Ryan made a mental checklist of the work he needed to do. He had a few cases that needed to be filed away.
Pulling into the parking lot he noticed that there were less cars than usual. Shrugging he locked the door and went in. The policeman at the front took one look at him and told him to report his his supervisor. Ryan could not think of anything he had done wrong, but he reported anyway. Their were two men, along with his captain in the room.
"Orders have been handed down. All slaves are to be put on unpaid leave until the Council rescinds City Ordnance 5225." His captain told him. "I need you to hand over his badge." Slave officers were only allowed to carry guns when they went out into the field.
"Sir, what is City Ordnance 5225?" He had not heard of a new Ordnance, but he did know that the City Council meeting had happened last week. This had to be from that meeting.
"No slave is allowed to leave their master's home unless accompanied by their master." That sentence hit him like a brick to the stomach. "These men will be taking you home to your master. You will not be allowed back to work until the ordnance is lifted." He might be saying that but Ryan knew he would never come back. He would be fired quickly and shoved under the rug.
"My work, my cases..."
"Will be taken over by someone just as capable. Gentlemen." His captain nodded to the men. One picked up a box and handed it to Ryan. It was all his personal things from his desk. His hands felt shaky but he held onto the box as the men escorted him down to his car. "Keys." One man asked and Ryan handed them over. The car had been a gift from his father and thankfully Greg had let him keep it. He sat in the back seat while the two men sat up front. As they pulled out he noticed a cop car following them.
It was over, in a few brief moments he was nothing more than a slave. His job had kept him sane. He might hate things from time to time, but he was still worth something if he had his badge. The drive back home felt longer than the drive to work. Once they got there the men cut the engine and got out. They escorted Ryan to the door. There was no way he as going to be able to explain this to Greg. One of the men told Ryan to open the door. They had to deposit him into his master's care. That meant they had to take him straight to Greg.
Greg as probably in his office working. So he showed the men in and to the office. Before he could call out to Greg one of the men knocked on the door to the office. "Mr. Dyer we are here to bring your slave home, as stated by City Ordnance 5225."
