When he felt the throbbing ache of his ankle start to lessen he realized what Derek was doing. The alpha was taking his pain. It threw the teen back to when he had gotten the brand burned onto his hip and his cheeks flushed with blood for a reason he couldn’t understand. But he did protest when Derek picked him up like he weighed nothing and started to make his way back up the slope and towards the house, towards home.
Derek’s words made the teen snort. “If I remember correctly you didn’t send me out here to dump a body. I pretty much demanded that I do it,” Stiles stated as he looked at Derek. “I should have grabbed a flash light but then I can’t really hold a flashlight and push a wheelbarrow at the same time. I just don’t know the terrain, is all. I haven’t fallen down a hill or a hole in years.”
