Stiles laid on his back, in the position he landed, as he tried to catch his breath. He looked up at the sky that was getting darker by the minute and wondered if Derek had heard him. His body hurt, having taken a pounding rolling down the hill, and he didn't look forward to walking all the way back and yelling at the alpha who had promise he was going to listen out for Stiles.
But a nose now that far off made Stiles pause and a flood of relief came over the teen when Derek jumped and rolled close to him.
"My ankle really hurts," Stiles said taking note of Derek cupping his face but not making a comment on it. The alpha's touch was reassuring and Stiles needed that right then. "I think I sprained it when I slipped."
