Hi friends! I am so sorry I've been scarce, I have a ton of stuff going on this week / weekend for work that's taken up way more of my time than expected. To be safe, I wanted to let everyone know

	She and Caiden probably at the very least knew of each other in school. Her parents and his grandmother might have been in some of the same social circles too. And they, of course, have age and zombie-bashing hobbies in common now. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Oh man SO yes, they should have definitely known each other in school. He's a year older so we could say he was the upper classman who was always nice to her and kinda looked out for her (dumb girl = easily taken advantage of)? Or if that doesn't work out we could always work out a different relationship, too!

Lulu's dad was owner of the jewelry store, but he also had 'shady business endeavors' so we could say that he and his grandmother were / are in cahoots! OH, maybe childhood friends or nextdoor neighbors or something? Always got lumped together when the adults had to conspire about their drug ring?

Just spitballing here, but it's always great to have another member of the Zombie Brat Pack!

	I'm in for whatever! I could definitely see Caiden sighing and playing big brother when she got herself in over her head though. Like you said, it makes a lot of sense especially if we go with the people raising them having been business partners! They might have actually grown up pretty adjacent to each other. Ooo, I really like this. Neighbors / "Our parents are totally into some shady business together". Forced to play in each other's rooms while the adults did biznizz stuff. Very Runaways! I'm into it.

Yea, I mean she can take care of herself (she's not totally helpless) but she is very naive. She probably threw up on him a little the first time she got drunk at a school party or something.

She will probably cry and tackle him when she finds out he is still alive.

	Yep, and Caiden is very self aware that his popularity in school had everything to do with money. I'm sure it's weird for him that she can take better care of herself in this world. Lulu is not even fully aware of her popularity, or the fact that it was based on the fact the cheerleading captain wanted something from her. She just thought everyone was really nice. See? Naive bb.

And she doesn't have gross guys slipping stuff into her drinks. And doesn't have to worry about all those classes she was failing. And... yea, she can murder stuff. XD

It will be very cute. I'm excite. We could for sure scene them running into each other again if you wanted once I'm out of this pit of work stuff.

Also he needs a nickname because Lulu gives everyone nicknames (it's how she remembers names and also names are too long so abbreviations are fun).

Since they've known each other so long (I'm imagining they go way way back?) would it be cool if she still called him by the name she called them as lil' kids? Like... Denny? Or... Cayen? Or something connected to a very cute but very private shared incident from when they were little that chagrined him greatly when she screamed it down the school hallways at him?

Maybe she calls him "Jelly". Because one time when they were kids and their parents were doing secret shifty things in the parlor downstairs they were having peanutbutter sandwiches and she didn't like the jelly. So he swapped his jelly part of his sandwich for the other peanutbutter half of hers. So now she calls him jelly because it was nice and sweet and also because he's jelly and she's Peanutbutter, or Peanut, or PB, or something like that?
