Connor was nervous. He would never in a thousand years voulenteer that knowledge to anyone, however. He didn't date much, he'd been far too busy with the war, and then trying to survive the after math, looking after Verity, and the estate. There were women here and there, but all in all he didn't take time for himself in that way.
On top of that he was trying to figure out what he was doing. Alicia Spinnett wasn't exactly the sort of girl he should be going after. She had a reputation, she'd been to prison, she'd slept with his little sister's boyfriend... There was so much wrong with that. Not to mention that she was a blood traitor and a Gryffindor.
But she was gorgeous, energetic- oddly alive after spending time locked up.
He'd lived his life by his father's rules, he understood them, agreed with them in most cases but for once he wanted to do something for himself. Was that so terrible?
Then there was the concern if she'd show at all- which was what really had him nervous. Gryffindors were hard to predict, it usually made him edgy. When he heard the knock on the door though he grinned. He'd answer it himself, he told the elf.
"You look stunning Alicia," he told her with a small but warm smile. Glancing at his watch he was amazed to see that she was there perfectly on time. "I'm impressed," he told her still looking at it before pulling his sleeve down over the timepeice.
"Please, come in," he said stepping aside to let her into the flat. "Would you like a quick drink? The reservations are for a half hour from now, we can certainly get there early if you'd prefer."
